Upchurch Angus Cattle is a family owned and operated cattle operation. The farm is nestled in the foothills at the end of the Appalachian Mountain Chain. Landmarks close to the farm include the highest elevation in Alabama, Mt. Cheaha and the Talladega Super Speedway. Today, the operations consist of about 250 acres of owned and leased land, running close to 125 cows. We utilize 100% Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer.

Our philosophy on cows is simple. Our cows have to pay their way and be "cows". We want easy fleshing, maternal cattle that get the job done with no excuses. We have assembled a group of donor cows that will accomplish these demands.
